Woodbridge T/M Lint bag ?
« on: June 27, 2006, 07:26:57 pm »
To anyone thats got a new pro mount T/M from woodbridge.

Have you found a way of keeping the lint bag on the (small) pipe in the waste tank ?

On mine the pipe only sticks out about 1 inch and the bag keeps falling off.  >:(

I have had to use plastic tie straps to secure it, which works fine, but is a pain to get on and off.

Cheers

I use a shoe lace kind of set up with a toggle tie off  so it can be tied and un-tied with ease. To make it work I have a screw screwed into the pipe close to the end which stops it sliding off. Best, Dave.

Hi Chris

I had the same problem and tried a couple of different things but: the only thing that works and is easy to remove is a piece of webbed strap with a plastic buckle like a belt which only releases when you feed it through.

(i bought the webbing and the buckle from B&Q for about £4.00)

Im crap at explaining things but i hope you can understand if you cant give me a call (07802458641)

Ive got the pro 25 and with a generous £4.00 spent the problem is now solved!!!!!!!!

Chris,

For me its not the bag falling off, its cleaning it.

Its a disgusting mess in there and I feel like I need a bath every time i have cleaned it out.

Anyone got any ideas on the best way to clean it.

Hi phil,

Buy a spare bag from woodbridge ( about £10?).

when you change the bag, put the clean one on.

Empty the main crap into the bin, turn the bag inside out and blast it with a hose pipe.

Leave it to dry and then shake the last bit of fluff out.

Job done.  :D

Cheers

Chris

ps or you could put it in the washing machine  :) wife wasnt much for that one though  ::)

Thanks Dave, thats all it needs, something to stop the strap sliding forward  :D

Chris if you look inside the tank on the baffle plate along side were the sock is there are holes in the baffle plate for you to tie the exsess cord on. Tie the cord tight on the pipe and with the exsess cord tie it through the holes in the baffle. If by any chance the sock works loose off the pipe it will not drop to the bottom of the tank.
