A quick video of the job,  but got to say this is the biggest trick carpet cleaners use on videos,  the result looks impressive but really all i’m Doing is vacuuming  off the excess moisture  (which makes the fabric look dark) the fabric is not cleaning  just dry

I was using a truckmount but you could achieve the same results with a Rug Doctor.

I presprayed with Chemspecs enzyme preclean powder and used a freshwater rinse, dried it off with a couple of airmovers

The same trick applies with carpet cleaning videos.
Also the trick of heating machine up to max temperatures, increase the pressure massively and  create the elusion  of steam pouring out😃

Your right there Simon, especially on a cold day, there’s only one way to get constant  steam at 400psi with a flow of 4 x No 2 jets and that’s to use a propane or diesel heat source, like the old Steameay machines (I saw one on EBay last week)

No heat exchange machine will ever do it no matter how much money you waste buying one

That machine on eBay looks awful. The 450D is a great machine but at that age and condition you have to be  very mechanically minded or leave well alone.
