Advice on preparing my business for sale
« on: October 16, 2018, 02:16:27 pm »
Hello.
I'm thinking of selling my domestic & commercial cleaning business. What would you do to prepare it for sale?
It's well established (been trading for 5yrs) and growing. Current turnover is over VAT threshold. Regular monthly earnings and leads. Leads generated from highly optimised website which is a business asset. There are 13 part time staff too.
Any Ideas?
Thanks in advance.

get all database in order

clearly document costs

clearly show how business is operated and how a buyer can get a return

I have sold several cleaning businesses.
I clean carpets
I dry Buildings

Hi

I sold our family based cleaning company  with approx 6 full time and 60 part time staff 18 months ago, I think one of the main reasons we sold well was, an established customer base with 90% of clients on signed cleaning contracts, with 2 of my major clients signed up on 3 year deals

If I can help further let me know

Regards   John
