Andy
The fact that you are enquiring about and exploring the the wider world of carpet cleaning shows that you are open minded and willing to consider alternatives to HWE. It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if someone were to supply figures declaing that there are more M
2 of carpet cleaned each year in the UK by a bonnet/pad type process than any by other system. Just think of all the high rise office blocks and out of town offices and call centres there are, and all but a few will be covered with carpets

and most will be on a maintenance programme to be cleaned two or more times a year

The earnings from these contracts can make us regular carpet cleaners look like paupers

It is for people like you, Andy, that I have organised the NCCA Hands On Experience at Wolverhampton on 18th September. Subject to adverse traffic conditions, I would expect it to be about a 2 hour journey from most of Yorkshire. Travelling south on the M6, you'll pull off onto the M54 before you get the the M6 bottleneck which is usually around the Walsall J10 area onwards travelling south.
We are planning to have systems from Dry Fusion, Texatherm, Cimex/Encap, SuperPad Charly, Chemstractor, various generic bonnet and OP systems, Host, Envirodri, Sebo, Agimac plus a few Pile Lifters plus a demonstration of how to improve the performance of a regular vacuum. I still need to cross a few 't's' and dot a few 'i's' in order to confirm all of the above will be present.
There will be an opportunity for all delegates to try the equipment for themselves and to judge the standards achieved. We have a lot of carpet that MUST be cleaned, so you'll be able to see how quick they can be too.
If anyone else is interested, you can book your place by calling the NCCA on 0116 271 9550. The cost, including lunch and V.A.T. is only £15 or £10 for NCCA Members.
Safe and happy cleaning
