so shrek you got your PF reelmaster a week before mine.i just want to confirm a few things.ive had mine 2 weeks now....

1.is there a knocking noise every time the reel turns?(mine does)

2.has the chain come off?(mine has at least 5 times)

3.is the spindle/rotary joint turning unevenly(warped) when the reel turns?(mine does)

4.can you hear the chain rattling a bit when pulling hose out?(mine does)

i just want to be clear as i dont know any other window cleaner with one of these reels nearby to compare mine too.....

im taking it back on monday.....not happy with it one bit.....

Sounds like yours has been damaged in transit Dazmond.

its going back on monday so hopefully they can sort it by either replacing some parts or swapping it for another reel......

i think thats pretty normal as my cox reel also does this.....but your reel doesnt make a knocking noise every time it turns does it?

Yeh it’s just a couple of showhomes + small sales centre that needs cleaning 2x per month. Only 40 mins work per clean. Too far for us to travel so would suit a local guy. Would you be interested or know anyone else who would?

For the price of them compared to waterworks reels you’d expect it to be perfect. You’ve definitely got a faulty one daz.

My waterworks reels have been flawless and they are a few hundred pound cheaper.

I’m sure they will sort it for you on Monday.
