Not if your cleaning by hand

Working off any ladder unless you are using work restraint ppe you only have two points of contact that’s your feet , if using working restraint or fall arrest you then have three points of contact leaving you with two hands to work all this is very basic working at height training  , weather you are using a normal ladder or conservatory ladder this doesn’t alter , problem is using the correct ppe is uncomfortable and restrictive in movement ,

I am fully aware of h&s on ladder and full harness procedures.

Yes holding on is a point of contact but it’s very difficult to do that and work .
Which fire service were you at I’ve just left Cornwall fire and rescue service after 30 years service I was a watch manager too small world 😂😂

I miss the shouts as we were a very busy station , don’t miss the politics, and red tape , it’s nice to go to bed and not get hiked out of it 3 or 4 times a night 😂😂😂
