Cleaning for Management Companys
« on: June 23, 2006, 08:32:23 pm »
Need some advise,

Ive got the opportunity to quote for some blocks of flats in the city.
They have said to me that they want them cleaning every 6 months.
How much extra would you put on to cover the extra cleaning needed?

Example- Quote for every month £200.00.

What percentage would you put on top.

Many Thanks

Simon

Hi simon

I would usually add 50% but would offer a 3 month clean price as well for them to consider
It also depends on weather you are likely to get other jobs out of it as well how much you need or want the job and make sure you know how long you have to wait for the cheque

I priced some communial windows for 8 blocks of flats to the min and ended up with the weekly communal cleans as well, they are price very nicley

for your windows remeber depending where  they are it could be like a fist clean each time

Hi Simon,

I would treat each clean as a first clean if it is 6 monthly. Anything could happen over that period, kids with eggs, bad weather, xmas decoration snow etc....

If you are charging £200 I would want £300 +

Like Grant ahs said, you may want to consider the knock on effects with work you may pick up from this contract.

Best wishes,
