Boss poles
« on: May 09, 2018, 07:50:50 pm »
Has anyone tried Boss carbon poles. Not the mega one but the normal one. SLX equivalent?
My SLX 18 poles are lasting between 1 and 2 years. Where the clamps locks, they are wearing.
I normally ebay them and get a new one, but willing to try a different one for the sake of £200.
Still have a SLX 35 from 5 years ago. Clamps never slip

When closing the pole don’t close it clamp on clamp if that makes any sense, try to have maybe a 3” clamping area and vary where you clamp within this 3” area, your pole will last a lot longer doing this.
