Machine Scrubber Dryer For Stairwell Landings
« on: April 13, 2018, 10:56:18 pm »
Hi ,
At present we mop stair wells on a weekly basis on a number of contracts. We periodically hand scrubb and deep clean the floors. We do machine scrub but find it messy so tend to hand scrub. We use a rotary scrubbing machine at the moment with skirt attachment.

I’m looking at machines to make the process better for results , operative fatigue, better drying times etc.

I have a bedget of upto about £1500

I realise we would still have to mop the stairs but wondered if smaller machines like Karcher BR30/4 would be good for the landings on a weekly basis and good enough for deeper periodic cleans. Used by single operative.  Would a machine like this be an improvement over hand mopping and leave the floors dryer?

Or would I be better off with a more heavy duty washer dryer and use just for the periodic deep cleans. Used by 2 operatives.
Like a roto wash.

Or ideally do I need a rotowash or similar for deep cleans and a upright washer dryer like Karcher for weekly maintenance ?

If anyone could recommend a deep cleaning machine for the stairs  that would be welcome too.

Thanks

Klindex do the Maxi Orbit which make very little mess.  They also do now the new Mini Orbit which will be ideal for this application.  Both  within your budget
