Has anyone ever taken motor head apart to check for blockages, checked rest and all seems o k but motor is making a low hum as if blocked no water spraying out, it's only 18 months old and not had that much use.

Only a shot in the dark - I got mine out today the first time in 2 years, although not exactly the same model. I found the spray hole at the end of the wand was blocked, its only a tiny hole though. I took great care in taking it apart as it looked pretty fragile. I also noticed the extraction inlet on the end of the wand was blocked with  a dried  crust.
