Pick n mix

Hi all
Do you guys stick with one supplier for your chemicals or do you choose some from one and some from others. I have been trying to get consistant cleaning results by just using prochem products but I find that their stain kits let them down (eg could not get blackcurrant out of a 80/20). I have heard good things about chemspec products, any good?.
Regards
Tim

It might be an obvious question to the more experience cleaners, but may I ask you why its nessecery to use so many different chemicals from different suppliers? Is it quality, price or something else?

I use on the whole mostly one supplier but do have many others to chose from if I needed too. In my case it doesnt

have anything to do with the price. If it did I would pay a fortune for the chemical that just cleaned everything. Sadly

we know it doesnt exist. Timmy Boy, dont feel too bad mate as to a degree nothing is going to take out a

blackcurrant stain...... Best, Dave.

Andy as I have found its no good having all your eggs in one basket, things change price or quality of service it pays to have more than one supplier.

I like to cherry pick different chemicals for different manufactures because i find that certain chemicals in certain ranges work better than using every thing from one manufacture.

Steve has got it in a nutshell. You've got to try different manufacturers as some work better than others ;D

Also what works for some doesn't work for others. Its strange but some people will swear by a product and someone else will say its crap.

Speaking to different manufacturers over the past few weeks, they all say "but you musn't use any other chemicals in there apart from ours cos you'll possibly cause damage to your machine". Yeah right! Good sales pitch.

Just to add, if anyone didn't read my post about Ashbys, they still haven't phoned, emailed, sent a brochure or anything in about 3 weeks of me contacting them (was interested in Ninja). They lost my sale, whats up with them? Aren't they hungry for business? They going down or what? (answers on a post card please)   ;D

I must admit I am dissappointed with Ashby's too as I still await info that i asked for weeks ago both in

writing, on an e-mail and also by phone. They lost out on what could have been thousands for them,

oh well!! Best, Dave. P.S. I was also surprised they didnt have any answers to what I thought were

basic questions just while I was on the phone.....
