Has anyone used freezer bags instead of foil pads?

Would work out a bit  expensive , but you can use any waterproof, colourless material. My vote is for a roll of tin foil in the van you can tear it to any shape & length you want. To suit any awkward   Piece of furniture

Thanks Mike, would you double up the foil when using? and would you wrap it around the base of the legs or just put it flat on the floor?

Do you double up on the foil or just cut squares out and place them under the feet?

That’s the great thing about tin foil you can tear it to suit the job, if you fold it you can use it as a glide as well

Cling film is useful as well

I make my own from cheap underlay. Tools required 1 pair of scissors = 100s of furniture protectors
