Better work life balance!
« on: January 19, 2018, 04:42:02 am »
That's what most folks stuck in office jobs etc want, more time to spend with the family and see their kids grow up and not have a boss breathing down their neck when they have to take time off to look after their kids for one reason or another.
I remember when my two kids were born getting grief for not going in!
Not today though, number three has arrived! It's funny how things change, when can we get home I'm wanting a block of flats cleaned later.....

I busted my ankle just before our third came along so I got to be home for the first six months of her life.  It was great except for the being stuck on me backside for the first 12 weeks with my leg stuck up in the air.

Best wishes with the new addition.

Thanks a boy 7lbs at 16 days early, first of three boys was around 38 days early at 5lbs 13, 2nd was 6lb 13 and 2 days late. So the heaviest marginally. They'll be home tomorrow, just need to keep an eye on him for 24 hours. Got into the hospital at 0104 and born at 0210 so quick but not as quick as the second when we were only in the hospital for 20 mins before he popped out.

I do like the occasional cigar.  C'mon, pass them round.
