I'm going to be buying an Slx pole and was wondering if the last section of my old clx 27 will fit on the end of a new Slx 22 on the odd occasion when needed.
Has anyone done this.

Yes it should , the 22 is a 5 section yes ?
I use an 18 slx with the bottom 2 of a clx 27 .

I've got clx extension 6 & 7 on my slx22 the poles are compatible with each other,  just look at the pole diameters on Gardiners

22ft is 34mm and the next up is 37mm which is the clx 27 size.

Think it's a number 6 can't remember but yes they are compatible.
