Experience wanted
« on: June 18, 2006, 01:35:22 pm »
Hi all, I'm new to the CC forum (and industry!) and have been on the complimentary Prochem one day training course which I found very interesting, but the bombardment of info has overloaded me a little.

As a result I was hoping to ask if anyone on here (based in the Herts area) wants an extra pair of hands for a few days/a week in exchange for a little hands-on experience?!?. (i.e. you get free labour for a few days !!!!!)

I totally understand if people are reluctant to give away trade secrets etc, but I really think experience in customer relations, how to go about jobs, chemical and carpet identification etc would really help me out!

Thank you,

Phil

Haha thanks Carpetmate, I have been scanning the forum like crazy, the coffee has been flowing and I have learnt a heck of a lot already. You guys really do know your stuff, and your experience shows in the forum threads.

Found anyone yet?
Ime based in waltham abbey not to far from you, junction 26 off the m25,

my work is based in essex and herts and allthough i dont claim to be a expert yet as iv only been going 9months myself im sure you would pick a few things up tagging along with me for a few days. Even if its just trying out different machines and chems than your used to,i will also be able to give you a few good pointers in pricing and marketing ect.

If you read this before then and your free, tommorow (friday) would be a good place to start, as i have a nice busy day with a good mix of work. Domestic flats and houses and some rental properties of varying sizes.

Pretty busy for the next couple of weeks but as i say tommorow offers a good variety.

Daniel

Ps, if you havent had many offers yet i would consider looking further affield, try someone in your neighbouring counties, (london, essex) ect as these guys are more likely to help, im sure you can imagine not all cc's in herts wanna help a cc starting out in herts for obvious reasons

If your interested give me a call or e-mail all my details are on my website (click on the globe icon on the left of this message)
