Cleaning headstones

Whats the best product to clean headstones with lads? Benz are promoting blackwash for this purpose but from research it seems this can do harm leaving brown stains

Care to elaborate a little Kevin? Is blackwash just a problem on marble and ok on other surfaces?

There is nothing to elaborate on really.  Headstones are made from all different materials and you asked what was best to clean them with.  The answer  will vary as to whether the stone is acid sensitive or not
