Well I am feeling brave this morning.
When Matt first started he was mainly Prochem, and if I remember correctly his link to his Web Site was quite prominent.
Which was included in his posts.
We must rember that Mike Express Cleaning Supplies owns this site,
and stocks Prochem products.
To his Credit he rarely promotes it on the Forum.
Hence there was a conflict.
Since then Matt has expanded his range
About two months ago he found he could access the Forum again, and for about three weeks was able to offer very helpful technical assistance, but received an email saying that suppliers were not allowed to post,
I think Matts mistake was to use the user name Cleansmart Supplies.
It is a difficult one .
However my personal view is that if suppliers post in moderation using their own names, and perhaps clarrification that they our a supplier in the identification box at the bottom it is good for the Forum.
As they have all the technical information on products and have often moved on from being a Carpet Cleaner etc.
I can think of one very helpful post I have read this morning.
What is wrong is when a suppliers posts are blattant adverts, and when you look back the only contribution they make is to promote their products.
Also I believe on Cleantalk suppliers have to pay to promote their products in the Supplier only section.
This was a policy started by Paul and Matthew when a rival supplier started to post on Cleantalk.
I would state these our my own views and apart from being a volunteer
moderator I have no conection with Express Cleaning Supplies or Cleansmart, apart from meeting Matt.
