I been putting my prices up recently and usually explain to the customer face to face that the price is going up next clean. However I've been caught out a couple of times:On two occasions just as I'm about to bring the subject up of price rises they give me a decent tip (after never having tipped before). On another occasion they explain it's their daughter's wedding immediately after the next clean date & that it'll be nice to have the windows clean for the wedding. It doesn't feel right to talk about price increases in these situations. I'll have to bring it up next clean... Does this happen to anyone else? Or is it just me?
