That is almost my set up Nathan. I've used a holster plus tap like you for ten years. Last year I put 50 metres of green pole hose on my reel too. My reel is slightly to the right so I can close the left hand door if I like.

I use a hose roller on a swinging arm out of the side door, but nothing out the back.

Granville where did you purchase your hose roller on a swinging arm from ?  That sounds a good idea .

I've always found wrapping the hose round my neck and walking away helpful.
i wish you do it more often ;D

The loop and clip i can see from the video which you use to loop hose around, but whats the thing on the left hand side of you, that you use to initially clip over, is that some sort of holster?  I think i'll do the same and get both to keep the hose firmly around me saves bending over all the time to pick up rectus inbetween each window!  All these little things no doubt make big differences over an entire day.

I believe so. Some have commented about the weight of the hose on them, but they must be skinny weaklings  ::)roll
They should have felt the weight of my trad belt, 2 pouches plus money pouch and bucket on belt with a wet mop n squeegee in. Never mind 2 folded scrims and a working scrim in one pouch and a spray bottle n wet rag in the other!!

Anyway, back on track  ::)roll
Before i tried this method i tried many of the other methods, ie the protector disc from pure freedom or the tennis ball stuck on etc but still the rectus fitting would shoot out when your dragging the hose on the floor etc. Or like you said, picking up the hose etc. This method is by far the easiest and it dangles behind you, so not really a trip hazard for you. Especially if "you are aware of your surroundings Bruce" (sorry couldnt resist a great quote from a film).

You can get them from ebay or also purefreedom;

Hi Leroy - I got the roller from B and Q and fixed it to a bit of 4" x 2" attached by a 4" brass door hinge to the ply of my insulated tank. It is about 18" long and it swings out the side door so I can pull the hose at right angles if necessary.

When not in use it drops down due to gravity so  the door can shut.
It's a game of three halves!

Thanks Granville,
                                        that sounds cheaper than  this I was looking at.

They also sell a long  arm version . I think this method is better than cutting a hole in my van floor and  having under floor rollers.

Yep. Mine isn't as professional as that Danish one which actually isn't stupid money if 1255 DK is just over £150 plus postage? And it's adjustable.

The bits for mine came to less than a tenner - Verve hose guide, a bit of 4 x 2 and a 4" hinge.
