Facebook........ again.
« on: July 18, 2017, 12:32:59 pm »
Sooo,

I have avoided Facebook up until recently. I didn't really understand how it worked so saw no point in using it. However, I was stalking about on there one day and low and behold there was a 'page' dedicated to my company! There was nothing on it, just basic (incorrect) information. I can only assume that if something is searched for often enough Facebook will create a page that punters can be directed to with basic information.

Anyway, I decided that if there is going to be a page I might as well be in control of it!

Here it is: Facebonkpage

How can I make it perform better? What's right and what's wrong?

Be as brutal as you like.

Ta.

We did a paid advertising campaign with Facebook, and to be honest it was a a waste of money !      Most inquiries were from price shoppers, and we lost a lot of money.    Maybe it works for others, but not in our case.

So far I've spent £28 and got 10 new customers.

First £14 got me 1

Second £14 got me 9

The learning curve is steep but I think if you use it correctly you can do well.

Edit: Not 10 new customers, 10 enquiries.

Fb Is great for enquiries,  I get a couple usually everytime I post but vast majority are cheapskates. Worth persevering with though as I've got some great custards from there also.

You can choose to spend a certain amount, and obviously the more you pay the more coverage you get.      One thing to remember though is you want to target your local area.

I cap spending at £1 per day on a boosted post.

I ran 1 ad for a fortnight and it cost me (drum roll please) £14!
