I used it for the first time this week on a really filthy first clean (two year old white upvc frames never cleaned till this week) and was quite impressed with the finnish.
We have a choice! We can do one or the other, the opposite, both, or neither depending on which way the wind is blowing.

I tried bio and didn't find it any good.

Put Tesco's biological powder into a bucket, then dunked brush in and scrubbed.

Ended up going back to virosol.

Is it me ::)roll

Although those type of roofs look really bad that would come up just as good using washing up liquid or just water hot or cold imo (perhaps take longer of course), But you dont need chemicals to remove it. Its just surface grime that a good scrub can sort out. they look worse than what they actually are (but its good for impressing the customer as their non the wiser). its when you get the proper staining/discolouration of the UPVC that a decent/proper cleaning chemical is needed.

Not knocking using bio powder but on that roof it would make no difference to the finish if you didn't use it, just makes it quicker of course

Good job tho and that roof has come up looking good.

Screwfix No Nonsense Degreaser has been working a treat for my treatment cleans to GFS and conservatory cleans even used it on several self cleaning glass roofs now with no issues at all.

Bio washing powder is just as good all the best chemicals but it doesn't work well from a backpack in my experience. Having to dip the brush in a bucket is inconvenient, especially cleaning fascia's. Also you need to rinse it really really well or you will get white streaks on glass, which I found after testing it on my own windows.
I know I was a big advocator of screwfix no
nonsense degreaser but I actually mainly use this stuff.
It's very difficult to find online, I get it from a local supplier, which is why I don't mention it here.

I done a test last week on a con roof. I cleaned one half with screwfix and the other half with this stuff.
The Merlin cleaned heavy staining much better then screwfix.

Causes severe skin burns and eye damage.do we need to use anything that strong?

I think I'll stick with virosol.it's easy to apply with my 5l pressure sprayer and I've got some in the van ready to go.

Cheers lads ;)

That screwfix gear is amateurish in the quality of clean it achieves.
