Evening all

So I had an email earlier in the week from a student wanting a quote for an end-of-year clean before next Friday.  I've cleaned it for students for the  last couple of years and know how long it takes so quoted £20.00 and said I can clean on Monday morning as I have one nearby to do as well.

Not heard back so I emailed today to see if she got the price.  She confirmed she had but said she was waiting on a couple of other WC companies to get back to her before they make a decision.

How much does she think the others are going to come back with?  Am I on my own in thinking that the hassle of emailing and waiting for the remaining quotes is a waste of time and money.  I could understand if it was a sizeable but fgs it's only £20.00 which will work out to a fiver each!

Why waste your time on them unless you want to rip them off cash in advance when they leave it until the very last minute or lose their deposit

£20 is a lot of money  for a student!give me wealthy retired folk any day of the week!

If I give a quote, I always just leave it with them. If they respond, fine. If they don't, fine.
