Make sure you fit it the right way up though.

ive still got to aquadaptors in the van ;D there very good but the springs used to snap a lot but as above there not on sale any more ,the univalve is very good to ,very lite the only thing that i can say thats not so good is you cant adjust the flow like you could do on the aquadaptor

Other than the weight, I love Aqua Dapter. Still use it on one pole. Had it 3 years on same spring

Univalve is the way to go - reliable, lightweight, no extra length to the pole 10 out of 10

Aquadapter was great apart from the springs. But it made the pole top heavy. Univalve is so much better.

I've been using the univalve for just over a week, but this week it's a bit temperamental when the pole is extended at 25ft+ at shutting off.
I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt at the moment and thinking maybe the pole hose is yielding more than usual due to the heat?
Otherwise if it continues.... I will be binning it.

if its the red/black coloured one you should be fine as this is the latest version - some of the others have had issues but steve has stepped up his game here and replaced any with problems

as with any of these they sometimes don't operate 100% when 25 + feet up be it aquadaptor -univalve - aquatap or those god awful gardiner things on the goosenecks i have used them all and they all have their little 'problems'

i have found that sometimes the guys pull too hard esp. when at full stretch, the univalve really only needs the lightest of touches to operate

When I first got mine I made it to tight.  Gave it a bit of slack works great.

I've also found that the higher the pressure you have your system set at tha more temperamental it will be. Mine work fine at 100psi but I can't operate it at all 115psi
