From her point of view you can understand her not wanting the windows cleaned when she's not there.I actually have the opposite to you where I clean quite a few holiday homes during the spring/summer months and they don't want them cleaned during winter. As others have said you just need to make sure you're earning a decent enough rate to make it worthwhile.
One of my big house brigade text me to say at my holiday home in July and August so don't bother. She's monthly £30.Cleaned for her on and off for 4 years.2 years old house then her and hubby moved and got a call about 2 years later to do current house.Oh yeh they have an estate agents business 😁👍👎 you the jury decide 😁Definitely up for a long wait.I replied to text "ok, have a nice summer, regardsLee"I've found it's better to be the wounded solider, than the little hittler.

We have a cleaner and when we went away for a month last year asked her to still come every week, it's her livelihood. Maybe it's because it annoys me in my business when people just say no thanks because we're not here. They should appreciate having a regular, professional service IMO.
Surely £30 isn’t big on anyones round?
