Aint got any spare pumps goin mate have you !

It does seem strange that the pump would run like yours were with the PS gone , thats why i didnt consider the PS , it has 2 lives and surely with a broken circuit it should not have even fired up , well another lesson learnt here today , you will have to attack the Vyair pumps next , gonna be the same issue for sure , glad you got it cracked Jon , not bad for a 75 year old are ya  ;D ;D ;D

Actually Rich, I think that there are different issues with one or two of the Shurflo pumps
One spare we had worked fine as soon as I fitted the new pressure switch
Another was spinning but we couldn't seem to prime it at all
Now we've got him working, I was thinking of fitting a speed modulator  so we can protect the pressure switch
I used to use one and just leave it set at 100%
I think Maplins do sell something like this so I'll get in there and maybe we'll stop burning pressure switches out.
Anyone know which modulators are any good?
I don't want to bother with an expensive controller that I'll just leave set at maximum.
Cheers for everyone's input
