Paypal.me

Just come across this, I'm probably a bit late to the show and everyone k ows about it but I thought it was quite good.

Usually for paypal I leave them my email address on the slip so I can be sent payments.

Bit we all know fees are a nightmare.
You can tell them to send as a gift but half still don't and it can seem a bit unprofessional asking for gift payments.

With paypal.me you give them your personal link and you can set the options to recieve it as a gift which they won't see or be aware of.

Here's my link

www.paypal.me/Thompson806

OR you can give them a direct link to the amount you want.. £20 would be

www.paypal.me/Thompson806/20

Just think it's a good way to avoid fees and give them a direct link on you payment slips.

Makes paypal a viable option to be paid again as I was trying to do away with it.

Personal or Commercial Purposes
When you sign up for the Service and set up a PPM Link, you will be asked to specify whether the primary use of your PPM Link will be transacting with friends and family (“Personal” use) or receiving payments from customers for goods and services (“Commercial” use). While you can reclassify a Personal PPM Link for Commercial use, and may be able to reclassify certain Commercial PPM Links as Personal, YOU MAY NOT USE A PERSONAL PPM LINK TO RECEIVE PAYMENTS FOR COMMERCIAL PURPOSES, NOR MAY YOU USE A COMMERCIAL PPM LINK FOR PERSONAL TRANSACTIONS.

You're not supposed to do a lot of things
But is there anything in place to stop you doing it?

Not sure

I would think they would have a system to detect frequent payments from different people. I'm not sure.
