Not a problem. She ows me 2 cleans over 3 months. (£24) she said her hubby paid. I said it wasn't showing on account. She thought it was due to Bank Hols.
Reminded her it still wasn't showing in my account. Today she says she no longer wants then cleaning and her hubby paid it. Told her again. Not showing in account and to tel me when it was paid.
Don't think I am going to get anywhere this way. Not letting this one drop as I have it in black and white.
Someone posted a very legal sounding letter.

Some people use these and have good results.

Couple of things, you have to register with them, its free but abit of faffing about.
Online form to fill in and a driving license photo or passport.

Other thing is you need the customers name.
If you haven't and can't find it Last resort is land registry online think it's £3 gives the householders names this is only good if their mortgaged not renting.

Because house will be in landlords name not renters but the again if the landlord gets a letter from solicitor about money owed this could work as he would get the arse with his tenants.

The letter before action is good I've never got to that stage I drop the customer a line saying 14 days to pay if they don't then Thomas Higgins will be chasing the debt on my behalf and this will work out costly for them.

Do you have a banking app on your phone. Go to her and ask what day she or husband supposedly paid you and show her no payments made. Ive done this before and when i begin to log into my account and ask them their account name so you can find their payment, they normally confess n get the cash out. In other words call their bluff face to face

turn up with your account on your phone and ask her to show you her payment!

Small claims court cost around £200 but she would be liable to pay if it goes your way, point this out to her. Has worked for me.

Small claims is £25.

You have proof she owes the money as she text you saying she sent it which proves liability. You also have proof it hasn't been paid.

Its a very easy case for you to win. Send her a letter with 14 days notice and tell her the proof you have.

If she don't pay file an online claim. I've done it twice and I would do it everytime for any amount as long as you have proof.

I used Thomas higgings on a £17.00 debt because the guy was taking the p. Cost me £3 and within 2 days he was on the phone to pay. Worth giving it a go.

I know some customers are a pain but is it worth the hassle for £24 the time it will take you to try and get it you could probably earn 10x that , I do understand how you feel though 😬😬😬

Getting sick of new customers trying it on. Most if went to court could say I did a bad job, but this is an open and shut case. They say they paid it and havnt.
Sending them a text saying I will take it further and charges will be added etc.
After that, I am going for it. They wernt bad customers. Some use and abuse. its the fact shes calling me a liar.
Havnt got any app on phone to show them. They know they are taking the P. they have paid a few times quite successfully before. They cant say the bank details were wrong.

What is it with some new customers. They don't even reply to texts. Eggs at the ready
