Ok , so this conny roof needs cleaning. There's a swimming pool in the conservatory, is there a safe way to clean this without conny roof ladders?
The guy said he's got some plywood or something to put up there so it will spread my weight but I'm not sure.....
Thanks in advance!

No need to do that. Just give it a quick hose down and treat it with the likes of ddac...Job done.
500-600 squid should cover it for a couple of hours work. lol

Algoclear pro 40% ddac is what I would use as when you work out the dilution rate of 40-1 it works out cheap as chips. It also don't have that added poope they put in so say stronger 50% ddac so is safer to handle and use.
It's used widely on pvc etc

Speak to the mad Frenchman as I'm sure he will help you out with further advice etc.

First you need a brand new van, preferably on lease
You then need to ask alot of nonsense questions on this forum
After doing this you need to quote 5x yor daily price and then you should be able to do this conservatory roof quite easily
On a side note though, can't you do it from where you took your photo with a pole?
Same from the otherside?
The finials would be a ballache but with the correct chems it should just slide off after a decent soak

To be honest , poling it from the side ( remember , it's the size of a swimming pool) would ruin my shoulders. I'd need to extend my pole 25ft I reckon on a 90 degree angle from the top of a ladder 😫. I need to be up there really ,
iv decided to sack it off because if one of the panels or whatever is slightly broke , then I go up there and break it even more - it won't be worth it!
Think il stick to the easy jobs , but thanks anyways 👍

As dazmond says, put ur ladder up a bit higher, so ur higher than the panels.
Spray it up with virosol, u could even rest a bucket with some mix in, on the ledge were sludge has gathered. Once u have pre wet soaked up with chems the hard work is done.

Sometimes photos can be deceiving but that doesn't look to bad 18 foot pole up ladder at gutter height from both ends spray with virosol , it's only poly carb not glass so should be ok if there was a very small amount of dirt not rinsed off ??
