Card reader fees
« on: April 20, 2017, 04:43:37 pm »
How many charge the 2.7% card fees or do you absorb and take the hit  to get a prompt payment ?
If you charge the fee on top, how do your customers feel about paying the fee?

I use PayPal here. And it depends on the type of card you process. Fees range from 1.5% to 3%

To be honest the fees are worth it. You don't need to waste time at the bank whilst Mrs moggins in front looks for her purse for 40mins

My local banks have business counters which are sometimes maned!
I prefer to use the pay in machines anyway as they don't try and sell you crap.
Anyone use izettle?
