You wouldn't see me with that outrageous contraption  ;D

Try standing back further from the building you don't have to look up all day and won't get the injurys and a decent pole would help.

Funniest thing I've seen in 7 years wfp ;D

Wouldn't you be better cleaning windows than trying to come up with all this useless poope all the time?

It looks ridiculous.

Is it workable? Practical? Feasible?

I'd be reluctant to acknowledge its usability but suspect in reality it has a place in the working environment.

I don't know why, but I just want to dangle a carrot off it!

How can you see the hazards around you at ground level?

I am all for making working life easier, however...

Does anyone on here actually clean taller 4-5-6-7-8 storey building day in day out using a wfp?
If so you will probably be aware how knackering it can be even if used the latest offerings from the likes of gardiners.

It may look silly granted but if it makes the job easier on taller stuff then why not try it before taking the p. lol

I'd buy one

How much! Where can you buy from?

They look like could  be quite awkward on domestic, especially if you using at ground level or getting in and out of van

There are the advantages on higher levels defiantly

Does it restrict moveability and add further strain to the back though, with the weight of the contraption

Might get caught in a chandelier whilst going through someone's house to get to the no access back garden 😱

Or on someone's washing on the line.
You could end up being a shirt lifter.

Good to see some innovation to reduce strain. If I was poling 3 storey plus blocks of flats for a significant amount of time I'd try one before mocking it. The special glasses probably help as much as the crane thing, mind.

I admit it does look as if he's about to launch a lifeboat and is his name Derrick?

I have to say. For commercial buildings and flats, that looks like a fantastic product.

Having done commercial work in the past, after about 2 hours of constant looking up and the same arm movements you end up with a massive stiff neck and your shoulders ache. If you are doing this sort of work all day all week, that's a fantastic solution to a big health & safety issue.

I don't see this being practical for domestic work though as you simply arnt looking up for huge amounts of time and your packing away and setting up so many more times giving you neck and shoulders the break they need.
