My quick loq adaptor for my gardiners pole, the silver loq that usually springs back in place to lock the brush in place after removing or replacing the brush isn't springing back in place. I'm guessing probably just from grit and dirt. Whats the best way to get this spring to lock again. WD40? Never had this before, don't often change my brush tbh, use the same one for most services.
Cheers
Hi there
It is unlikely to need WD-40 - it is more likely that for some reason the spring below the button has become misaligned. It will probably just need adjusting back into the correct position central to the button for the button to start working again.
Hi Alex, thanks for the response on here. I tried to spray it with water and soap just incase there was grit or something preventing the spring from smoothly moving. also took the spring out and put it back in just incase it was missalligned. Still did the same thing, and this happened once before on and old brush i had, at the time i just bought a new brush as needed one anyway.
I phoned your office today, and instead i ordered a few of the replacement part angle adaptors instead, at just £2.95 ea i thought it was more than worth it, hopefully that should solve the problem and wont happen again for atleast another year or more.
Thanks for your advice though.
