What length brush would I need for the window on the roof?

Do mean pole not brush? I think an SLX30 would defiantly reach that, maybe a 25 at a stretch m.

You'd definitely reach that with a 35'.  If it's cottage style low roof, possibily with a 25'.
That's pole not brush. I don't think you can buy brushes that long!!

Ha Ha i meant pole    im looking into buying my first wfp pole system....need to get the right size pole as i seem to be picking up these size houses....

You could get the SLX 25' and 35' extension pack.  So just slap on the extension when needed and use the 25' for everyday use to save weight and stress on your body??!!

Im just shy of 6ft and using a slx25 would easily reach that window.

If wanting to make sure buy proper equipment and sizes. If you can afford it, you really want to go for the slx range or at least carbon poles buddy. Hybrid poles are ok if you dont fully extend each section to limit the flexibility of the pole. But then your limiting the length and so a waste of money.

The dormer maybe but not a chance of getting the gable windows with a 25ft I would recommend a 35ft just to be sure.

Im stuck on deciding on getting a trolley system or a van system? Any advice? Its for a pickup truck

When i was thinking about switching from trad to wfp, i thought the trolley system would be ideal. Especially the purefreedom one as i thought i can adapt this when i upgrade to a van later. However i was strongly adviced that people who go trolley first more likely end up with a van and so skip the middle journey. I did and went straight to a van system. I also use a trolley system for ones i cant park close to, but im certainly glad i took that advice.
I would also give the same advice to anyone who asks me. The van system saves so much messing about. When i use the trolley it certainly adds time to my days work, having to go back and fill it up all the time.
There are ones on here who use a pick up and have their setup in it.

I was kind of thinking that myself about the trolley system.....skipping the middle journey seems logical

I use my 25ft extreme for houses like that,the top Windows I can usually reach with the butt of the pole beside my ear though but I still manage them.

Get a trolley and see how you go, even if you eventually switch to a van mount the trolley will always be useful for jobs
where a hose may not be the best option and as a back up.
Its a good piece of equipment to have.

yep.i agree too.25 footer should get most  3 storey work and ideal length as a day to day pole.

buy a van mount,100 m of hose and a backpack with a little fold away trolley for awkward jobs and emergency back up (its all you ll ever need mate.)
