A 75 year old window cleaner died in the London attack - Leslie Rhodes - did anyone know him?  RIP

How sad, no doubt the guy was a legend, probably a true oldschool window cleaner who all his customers loved to see him.  RIP

he lived on his own, never married and lived in the same council flat all his life.neighbours said he was a true gent and would help anyone out.wouldnt hurt a fly........sounds like me........he was only nipping to the hospital for an eye check up.75 and fit as a fiddle. :'( :'(

Sounds like a lovely bloke....

Not sure what CIU windys would say about his mates comment tho!

Mr Carney said he first met Mr Rhodes in The Sun pub in Clapham in the 1960s.
He added: 'If he cleaned your windows he would do if for nothing or very cheaply, that's just the kind of person he was.

why is it depressing?its great living on your own!no hassle!no kids!its bliss!dont get me wrong my girlfriend stays over sometimes.in fact shes staying tonight as my band has a local gig so im on a promise later! ;) ;D

cheap rent and plenty of disposable income.whats not to like?love it! 8)
