Engelbert Strauss - they last for ages. You can get them in different leg lengths, and they even have a fleece lined version for winter. Also they do shorts.

I use scruffs from wickes. Had the same couple of pairs for over 3 years and still going strong. They are really hard wearing.

Engelbert Strauss, the entry level e.s cargo trousers are good but spend a wee bit extra and go for the e.s dynashield ones, lightweight and elasticated, brilliant work trousers. They have a good selection of shorts too, I went with the e.s motion summer.

Look at
Fjallraven .... Barrett- Lapland or Vida pro ....expensive but built to last
You can wax them to keep them water resistant too , highly recommended 👍

I use the e.s. motion bib & brace with a polo shirt in summer and hoodie in winter.  One of the good things about e.s. stuff is that it doesn't fade easily. My b&bs last about 2 years before they have faded enough for me to replace. I have had work trousers before that look 10 years old after 3 washes!!

Tesco/asda/Lidl etc do cargo shorts and trousers for about a tenner or so, i still have pairs that ive had a couple of years or so.. why spend more its not like we are crawling around out knees or they are getting the same kind of wear as on a building site for example. Its just some cloth covering your legs with pockets on, some people really do like to waste money for the sake of it.
