ive just got rid of my last inside customer and i wont be taking anymore on from now on.

i hate the pre booking and having to be there at a certain time,getting messed around at times too and i really dont want to be going inside any customers property.

give me a "splash and dash" outside job any day with no notification,pay on the day and move on to my next job.

Indeed! I only do inside work (on request) if it subsides my outside work. For example if I have a customer who asks me to do the insides once every six months and the outside is a good payer then I will tolerate it then.

Except commercial when I can turn up when I like - useful if there is a really bad weather day.

I hate going round the house, squeezing past furniture, moving stuff off the window cills, having to watch where water is dripping etc etc etc.  Can't be bothered with the hassle.

If a customer asks, I quote an astronomical price which always puts them off.  When their face recovers I tell them they would be better off getting touch with a domestic cleaner and pay them £10 an hour for a couple of hours.

if a customer asks i tell them to ask their domestic cleaner.i have lost jobs because i wont clean the insides  but im not too bothered really.

same for gutter clearing.i refuse them also(unless their at a really low/safe level and its a full UPVC clean at a good price).

its very rare that the weathers really bad when the inside works due though(IME)!

The less I like doing something the higher the price, I absolutely hate cleaning interiors and have a fair amount on
my round.
Its also a great way to take wealthy well paying customers from guys who wont or cant do their insides.

There is no such thing as a bad job, just badly priced jobs.

I find that if I price them better they are much more enjoyable.

Just charge double as it takes twice as long. I agree that it's nice to pre  book them but there our customers and expect us to be able to offer this service

I do loads of inside work....I charge more and enjoy traditional work.

I don't do them. I hate them, I feel nervous as soon as I walk in a custys house.  I don't like doing anything that breaks my stride on the windows. Once you get your round sorted and get really efficent at blasting round it any interuptions to the flow becomes a pain.

I just tell them I don't have the gear to do it.
