Thanks Don. Where is the best place to buy the Aquatec pump? On Amazon U.K they are £327 so a lot more than the other pump Nathan suggested.  Seen them used on eBay for around £159.

So if I bought a bigger DI vessel it's quite easy to remove the connection and replace with new fittings?(the 1/4 one)

Sorry I'm learning so much

Di tanks normally come with 3/4 fittings on. So look on ebay or other sites for a 3/4 to 1/4 push fit fitting. That will allow your pipe from ro to fit snug into the di vessel. You can even keep the outlet as a 3/4 and connect a normal hosepipe connection to it as that simply feeds into your ibc tank.

So i started to fill my virtually empty ibc tank yesterday 7pm, im about 200 -300 ltr short of it being full. So prob by 10pm. So about 27 or so hrs to fill it.

Not sure if this angle helps better,

And yes, the fittings on the DI just screw off, you just need to make sure you order the correct fitting
I just rang Doug @ Daqua (daqua.co.uk) and asked him  to send me the correct size, job jobbed

Hi Nathan, do you know what GPD on pump you got? 50/75 or 100?

Also is the fitting a 3/4 to 1/4 BSP thread? Is this what I put on the new Di vessel? Cheers

Ps I'm racking my brain trying to work out your set up Nathan as need to know what fittings I need.

So am I right in saying I need the pump which comes with correct fitting....... DI vessel....... and fittings as follows:

Elbow connection 1/4 inch....
3/4 to 1/4 thread to push fit connection( to put on Di vessel)

It looks like you might have two other connections to attach the pump to?

The water comes out your three prefilters into a bar like fitting which screws into the last prefilter. Which leads i think into first membrane and the flush kit. (Could be wrong as ive gone away 4 wknd).  So you need a 1/4 push fit to replace that. Then feed that into the in let of the pump. The outlet from the pump would need to go into a 1/4 push fit T piece and then connect the tubing how it was originally. Thats all!
Yes your correct, the di would just need the suitabke connections as youve already said.
It will become easy when you have the parts in your hand.
All the best mate

Hi Nathan
Is your pump the 50,75 or 100GPD as there are 3 options at checkout?

Cheers. I'm ready to buy but don't want to buy the wrong version of pump.

Right have bought the 4.6 litre Di to go with my 450 GPD (that Nathan recommended)as the 1 litre one is useless. TDS starts off at 005 now and an hour later up to 008/010.

Have also bought 2 x John guest 3/4 to 1/4 pushfit. So do I need one for the inlet and one for the outlet?

And I simply unscrew fitting in Di and replace with these fittings? Is that right?

Ps. Changed resin 3 times in a row and wasted loads thinking that would help. I'm hoping the new DI vessel will help. Filters been changed recently and have flushed lots so can't think what else it can be

Don't use above 003 otherwise you'll get spotting on glass if using  ro keep flushed about twice week if hard water area

Hi Nathan. No ive only just ordered the new Di and fittings. I'm not worried about the pump right now as I just need to get the TDS back down again and happy to sort pump later.
Just need to know about fitting. The little 1 litre I have has the blue (1/4) hose going in one end of the Di and the red hose(one that leads into tank producing pure) going in the other end of th Di

So my question is..... Do I put a fitting(3/4 to 1/4 pushfit which I've bought) into both the outlet and inlet of Di vessel? That's why I've bought X 2 fittings. Or is it a different fitting to the outlet than the inlet(Di vessel I'm talking about) have bought the same Di from link you sent earlier in post. Cheers

Lynda. I've been told working with 010 is ok. My water this week has been 006 and I've had no spotting at all.

been using water at 010 for the last 2 years, it is what I get after RO, don't use DI, never had any complaint.
