I've used plenty of both. I much prefer the Virosol. I find the cleaning power of both to be  similar, the main problem with Ubik though is it is a massive PITA to get it off if you let it dry on the glass. Virosol doesn't have that problem.

Neither. Very basic cleaners and not really designed for our trade.

i was always told Virosol if left on for too long stains, so i decided to use Ubik, once i got a few splashes onto a window without seeing it, and it did dry  a bit dodgy, other than that never had any problems when using it cleaning conny roofs and certainly not on FSG.  Just dont let it dry, i soak the area with pure first, then apply ubik, scrub, leave a few mins and then rinse thoroughly before moving on.  Has worked for me everytime so far!  Might try Virosol or some other tfr soon though as nearly out of Ubik anyway.

I heard that tfr can make the plastic go yellow. I use ubik the degreaser from screwfix is surposed to be better.

Probably elbow grease. lol

Like most just have a play to find to out what chem/soaps works best for you. I'm sure dazmond knows that already as has  been in this game a long time so I don't know why he asked.
