gardeners delivery pump

i haven't used a  gardeners delivery pump for a year and a half . just tried to get it going again and its not working , could it have seized up ?

Possibly yes, can you hear anything when you try turn it on? If it makes a hum, take the bottom off and spin the propellar and should start up again.

Not sure what pump that is.
But sometimes just giving the pump casing a tap with a rubber mallet or similar can persuade the impeller to start moving.
