hot pure then stopped using it because i couldnt be bothered to get another bottle but then when the cold weather hit i got a bottle and realised just how much better it is scrubbing and melting the crap off, definately intend to carry on through this summer with that stubborn bug crap!
we make enough money that a few extra quid isnt much!

Don't forget dazmond there are many with diesel fired water heaters too and the first ionic hot water heaters sold were in fact lpg heaters. Concept are still using lpg as far as the last time I looked.

Thats what i dont understand. All the big wigs on here about how much they earn n near the vat mark and they quibble over  over a small expense of heating water. Helps reduce the tax bill a little as well, but if there raking it in, then their tax bills must be chicken feed (yorkshire saying)

Just because your a so called big wig doesn't mean you need to wipe your backside with £5 notes, personally I haven't read
anything other than it makes the hoses slightly easier to handle in the cooler months that would make me want to start using hot
water, if I worked by the coast or in an area where I needed to melt off what was getting onto the glass and frames then I may have to rethink this.
Out of interest what problems where you getting on the glass that caused you to move to hot ?

What made me change onto hot.......
I changed onto wfp to make this job easier, so achieved that by getting rid off the ladders n a bucket. Wfp is great and so easy in comparison, that came winter or colder days i didnt want to be working with cold hoses and them kinking etc. I also went wfp so i didnt loose days off work due to it raining. So i also didnt want the cold or snow causing freezing on the windows. So i went down the  warm/hot water route. The fish/pond heaters got the temp upto 32/34 degrees C, which gave warm hoses n pole which isbrilliant n a delight to work with. At brush end it was tepid. But i could see a difference in cleaning esp as i had nearly 2mnths of work, so dried on bird mess etc. So now i want it hotter than the restricted heat of pond heaters.
So;
*Warmer, easier hoses n warm pole.

*Improved cleaning compared to cold esp on colder days.

Also.going down route of electric reel, just to make this job easier. A friends has done a change in career and so im taking on an extra £450 of work. So a slight increase on electric bill due to the immersion being on after midnight at cheaper rates anyway, is well worth the comfort of an easier days work.

Just my opinion

I don’t think anyone quibbles about the cost of heating water. Its the safety and convenience that most are concerned with.

The main concern with the diesel heater is the battery drain,if anyone can get that problem sorted you can't beat em tbh. I've had
Mine for 10 years and it's ideal for what we use it for and it's a safe unit to walk away from and know that it's not likely to set light to the van.
