So what have I been doing - well 2 different jobs as both guys are in different stages -

 Matt's site   www.commercial-window-cleaners-in-london.co.uk
is in a better position quality wise already and don't need much doing to it to get perfect so have been taking a look at some of his competitors keywords and rankings - have passed a list with over 1000 keywords that other firms are getting found for so he can take the best from it and gave a list of long tail keywords that get over 200 hits a month and rank their sites on the first page - don't mean Matt will suddenly be on page 1 but saves a lot of time by going after the best keywords to start with. Some surprises in there.

Ollie's site   www.wrightbright.co.uk   is currently blocked from being crawled by my seo programme by a no index tag ? which tbh I think has been left in place in error by its writer so cant do a full proper quality audit but done keyword research that will avoid him going head to head against the competition in the area and found some easier ranking keywords for him to go for ... the meta tags and descriptions have been reworked to include the new keywords that I have found so these with his desired keyword will give him a boost - also now on facebook ... google my business and have found some more local directories to be added onto.

The next job is to look at the competitors back links and to isolate the good ones with a good ranking which is all for another day.

We now have a baseline to work from with some starting scores and ranks so time will tell.

well the 2 guys are making changes to their sites and I can see the improvements ... Ollie's site has now been unblocked by the company that wrote it so can now be scanned by my software and tbh quite a few errors but there getting worked on so he will see improvements over the new few weeks.

My site was full of errors which can be seen in the photo1 and tbh was a lot higher but didn't take a photo however photo 2 shows where its currently at with a little work to be done on page content.

photo 3 shows what my organic  search results will be (possibly) once I sort out the other problems

Some of my keywords are starting to rank already and have moved up the ranks such as render cleaning now in position 67 wasn't even ranking last week, window cleaners chester now at 82 was at 98 and window cleaning Wirral wasn't ranking but now at 54 ..... the way this works is each page of google has 10 spaces for organic listings so 98 is at bottom of page 9 ... postions 1 to 10 is the first page ..... my keyword of patio cleaning Wrexham wasn't ranking at all but now on page 1 position 6 (happy days)
