wheelie bins baine of my life

i spend  more time unhooking  my hose from wheelie bin wheels ,than should be allowed in a days work.
THESE THINGS SHOULD BE BANNED. ::)roll ::)roll ::)roll

Hate the things. That and corners of flags or bit gaps in the corner of walls, just enough for the hose to jam. Boils my blood at times

Car tyres are pretty good at the instant stop too.....and I still do it even though I know it's going to do it.
Rose bushes are a pain too and plant pots you pull over.
Impossible done straight away, miracles can take a little longer.

If you turn the bin round so your not pulling your hose over the wheels you'll have less problems,I find the best thing to do is pull enough hose out first so it's slack when your pulling it round corners there's less chance of it getting snagged I find.

Round my way most properties have one green bin per house for recycling of food items. No one wants them in their garden so they are all in the alleyways. Like you say, a major pain. However, recently the local council has proposed three more per household for recycling of various materials. I was like, noooooooooooo

snagging has been worse  lately as ive been using 30m of pole hose with my backpack.it gets caught on everything!i dont know how you guys work who use half microbore and half pole hose on your reel. ::)roll
price higher/work harder!

I'm surprised that no one has said dog poo. Is there anything worse than cleaning it off hoses?

i wouldn't clean any property  if its got any dog poo that may get on the hoses.
