two poles from one pump?
« on: January 27, 2017, 09:06:39 pm »
Hi all how is the best way to make your system two man?. Iv seen it done with one pump and a t peice inline but what if your not going to be 2man all week? will pressure go up and down?
I also have the di in my van so can you tee off after the di to both reels? is it possible to feed a second pump after the first has gone through the di and just put a ball valve to cut it off if your working solo?.

whats the best way to about it?

thanks joe

Yes, pressure will go up and down, but if funds are tight it will do. Better with two pumps.

All our systems are 2 man 1 pump. No problems with going up and down although I'm not entirely sure what you mean by that. If it's 1 person using the system you need to turn it down a bit.

Tank > pump > DI > DI > T > reels

Tank > pump > DI > DI > T > Reels
Only that the pressure drops when two hoses are running.

hi thanks for the replys, i have two pumps and two flow controllers just one DI so wonder if you can use the first pump to draw water and fire it through the di then use a tee to send water to first hose  and second pump, or would that not work?

so main problem is two pumps but only one DI?

Get another D.I?

Or when you transfer your water, transfer it through the D.I so the water in your tank is pure?

A second pump is best
if u run 2 poles off the same pump, the higher one of the 2 suffers lower pressure at the brush head.

When I had a 450, I bought some 1/4" fittings from Daqua so I could produce water from the RO straight through my 25litre DI, into the storage tank

They do all sorts of fittings, have a look on their website or give doug a ring
