It's true that you get some terrible jobs, but generally they are pretty easy. Even the bad ones don't take much longer once you know what you are doing and can take control of the situation. For easy jobs I'd like to tell you about my easiest - and I can't imagine anyone on here has made £70 quite like this

:
A few years ago I received an email from some weird guy who wanted me to clean his sister's oven as a Christmas present. He was writing in a strange and over familiar style and it was slightly creepy. We arranged the date and time and he said he'd put the money in with the Christmas card and I was to attend at 10am on the 28th Dec. I arrived at 10am on the 28th Dec. Man answered the door looking really ped off to see me. He explained that his wife was extremely offended that her brother thought she had a dirty oven, and if he'd known who had been booked to come around he would have cancelled. I said that it wasn't my fault and I could have booked another job in etc, and he said no problem - come in. The oven was the most spotless oven I've ever seen (she must have spent 2 days full time on it!!) so I looked at him and asked what he wanted me to do with it. He said "the money's in the envelope over there. If it makes you feel better, wipe the oven with a sponge, take your money and get out."
Best 1 minutes work I've ever done. And I've had many a job where you wouldn't think it really needed cleaning. There are dirty swines out there, but they are a significant minority in my experience
