Max head is only 35mtr which is only about 65psi, any more and you run the risk of damaging the pump. The one Chris turner uses is a good pump if you can the extra.

Ben the one in your link is not recommended due to pressure and flow variations.  Both options suggested prior are much better offering constant pressure and flow.
Base your decision on psi boost requirements of your ro membrane.

how do you connect it? normal wall plug?

Yes normal wall plug.
In the description of the pump from ro man it says it needs wiring up, but mine came all wired up and ready to go.

I have the same trouble as you Ben I have the pump Chris is recomending and its been brilliant, Plug it in and forget it but it is noisy which is no problem for me as its in garage.

The outside tap should be the same flow rate and bar pressure as the house mains. If not then it's being restricted in some way so I would take a look at that first.
