january eh?anyone going away today or this week sometime?

my plan is by the time im 50(5 years away)that january is a month that ill take off entirely and go to warmer climates.im sure it would do me the world of good and customers wouldnt mind skipping a clean.

what are your thoughts guys?

Finally achieved it this year ... not a month but 3 weeks - stopped 24th dec --- flew to Sydney 28th and had new year there then travelled east coast as far as Fraser island and as south as mirimbula near Canberra.

will be doing a month at end of this year.

Well im not pleased to say it but yes ive had virtually the whole of january off!!

I finished work the final wk leading to xmas and was due to return 2 wks later in jan. Then we had high winds whichbi tried working in only to be attacked by flying recycling boxes and so gave up. After that i caught a virus and have been off work since.
There goes my savings on paying bills instead.
So returning to work with full vigor on the 30th

I barely had any time off when I first started in 2004 (I think) apart from weekends. Didn't take a full weeks holiday apart from Xmas for nearly 4 years, as I was worried about getting behind with the round.

I now work on a 3 week month, having from the 22nd of each month off if I choose to. I can fill my time with add ons if I'm not planning on doing anything or going anywhere.

All future rounds and franchisees will be in the same position as me from day one, making for a very relaxed working lifestyle.

3 week months are the way forward 👍

Weeks off and holidays are what I work for

Italy in march,  France in august already booked and I will hope for at least another this year as well.

I love going abroad and just as happy on a beech holiday as I am on sight seening trip..

Hi Griff,  I was rooting through this thread and I only just twigged your comment above. I was going to join in but I realised I was being a sap and barking up the wrong tree if I thought I could match your level of joaks.
