I have 1 protection job booked in next week and that's it, but it's Boxing Day,  by next week I will be busy. Even in very busy times I'm never booked up more than a couple of weeks in advanced...... why would it be different at this time of year.

If you only have worked booked in for tomorrow then you earn exactly the same as if you have worked booked in for 3 weeks

I agree with Cleanitup God - never really get booked out more than 3 weeks.  Seems like that's the longest time frame people schedule out

I have two big commercial jobs booked in one this Friday one next Friday. They do take 30 days to pay but that's near enough a months money in two days. Any thing else that comes in is just a bonus. Stress free January for me.

So far I have nothing booked in, I'm a new business (started full time in September ). December has  also been slow for me, I achieved my target but I was expecting more. Keep positive.

Happy new year guys !!!

I wouldn't worry too much. I have 17 jobs booked in for January and I've been going a while.  As Tim says,  they'll start coming in in actual January.

First day back working today,  basically got all the mornings booked up this week and 1 job for next week.

Been bored out of my head over the Xmas period, I was hoping to do lots of maintenance on the machinary but all the hydraulic places were shut so couldn't get any new high pressure lines made,  wanted some new embroidered shirts done but the place was closed, now everything's open I will keep my afternoons free to do all my jobs

I worked three days between xmas and new year and started back today. But like Mike having all these random days off as been doing my nut in!

Its funny because leading up to the 23rd of Dec I always look forward to having some time off, by the 26th I'm itching to get back out there!
