Is this proof that Vision is all in the mind of those who buy it?

There’s a fella on one of the FB groups who has been using Vision and thinks it does a great job without realising his D.I. resin, which is plumbed in after his tank,  has been stripping it out of the water; yet he has been going about his cleaning believing he’s been using it and it’s been achieving a better quality of clean.
