Computer Buffs
« on: May 30, 2006, 08:23:53 am »
As some of you may have noticed I have a dodgy  space bar on my laptop which means I have to look after every word.

I believe there are things  you can do to set  key board speed.

If it was a tower  I would just buy a replacement  keyboard.

I  have wondered if continued hitting the space bar would solve problem

It feels more springer or  resisistant than other keys.

I realise this  is not Carpet Cleaning and  will move  topic after I have sought your  opinions.

Daniel

You need the appropriate software.

You can usely download it free form somewhere. JPEG/PDF all the same. I look forward to seeing a copy of your leaflet as mine stinks, and could use a bit of inspiration.

I would convert it to a PDF using adobe acrobat or the likes (resolution @ 600dpi) then take a snapshot and edit in photoshop.  I guess you could also take a screenshot of your window (using ALT +  prtscn button above home) then pasting it into a photo editor, but i think the resolution will be poor.

I dont think it would be possible to port a jpg into word and then edit it without much hassle. However, there might be a bit of software out there that does it.  I have heard that there are scripting plugins for photoshop that do this for you (http://www.hftonline.com/forum/showthread.php?p=107481) but i have no idea where to get them
