some days nearly all my customers are in and  pay me there and then, other days hardly any!i still do a bit of collecting although its drastically reduced these days.

usually i get around £450-£500 in tips.itll easily get me a new stereo for my GTI! :)

If you lived down sounth you would afford the "R" Model and not the slow GTI..
Just joking what GTI you got Daz? Im a fellow Vag guy myself.

mk 5 and its been re mapped mick!its so much fun to drive but i dont want the missus driving it!heated leather seats and heated wing mirrors.lovely car. :D

I'll 2nd that. Mk2 GTI 8v. Favourite car I ever owned. Handled like a go cart and no turbo lag. No electrics or air con. Worth fortunes now. Sold mine for £800 9 years ago😩

I bought a buy to let property so had to sell my M3 to cover the rest of the deposit, was a hard painful thing to have to do!!!! Miss it so much, mrs didnt let me buy another as i scared her too much and she didnt enjoy driving it as all the boy racers were trying to race her so we mutual aggreed on an S3 which to be fair is just as much fun to drive, funny though as she still hates that everyone wants to race her so should have got another M car

I feel your pain :'(,  we must share the same taste in cars, I had an S3 for a couple of years which I chopped in for an M3, the S3 was great but the M3 and the sound from it is on another level, unfortunately I sold my M3 end of September to buy a Static Caravan, I love my caravan....... but I am badly missing my M3 :'(
Mind you, as this thread is about xmas tips, maybe I will get lots of tips this year and put them towards an M4 ;D

Got first Xmas tip 3rd week in November 😀

£70 total at the moment biggest tip £20

I know you shouldn't expect Xmas tips but still get narked by some who I feel I go out of my way for and get a big fat nothing, like I did today, except for "that was quick" comments, even though I've worked at your huge house for 6 hours today😒

if your annoyed that your not getting a tip off a customer at xmas that indicates to me that your probably not charging enough for that particular job. :)

remember them when you put your prices up next april. ;)
price higher/work harder!
