service reviews
« on: May 28, 2006, 04:54:27 pm »
just wondered what people did at their service reviews.
I am having an office cleaning review next week. I'll be doing a full report, what do i need to do? not done one before.

I'm thinking of doing an inspection the day before to see how are standards are, and if all the duties are being carried out. (no complains from the company so should be ok)

any advice welcome. thanks.

The best advice is to listen, and then if there are any problems nip them in the bud by telling them they will be resolved straight away, not next week or the week after but straight away, before you go, take a pen and right down a few pointers they may ask, then as you are going around with the client , tick them off, just make sure you are writing everything down,........and smile ;D

Thanks Chris
Do you think it is a good idea for me to do the inspection the day before review? it's only other Lisa doing the cleaning, so i know its pretty much up to spec anyway.
I wish i never mentioned that i would do a review now, oh well, good customer relations i suppose, and we get on well with them anyway.

yeah everyone knows who everyone is, as i say, we have all met, and it's offices, all the staff know us aswell. I have done some cleans there myself.

Belive me, if either of us has a problem with the other regarding work, we are honest and say something straight away, no matter what it is. we have known each other too long to girl thingy foot around each other. (we have been friends since pre-school)  ;D

I don't mind working with my family, my mum has been a cleaning supervisor and cleaner since i was a toddler, and various cousins have cleaning jobs with my auntie who owns her own commercial cleaning company.

I'm not short of good temp cleaners. My nan was a housekeeper from the age of 15 and had various cleaning jobs until she retired, amongst other things. not that i would hire her now  ;D shes in her 70's.

I've just realised i come from a cleaning family, weird!
Lisa cleaned buses for 10 years previous to our biz, and so did her mum until she got arthritis.

Cheers Mark.

Hi
Thanks everyone for your assistance, meeting went fine today. they are very pleased with our work, we asked some questions, so did they, we agreed on some things, and everything went just fine.

Next review is end Aug. That one might have a different ending, we will probably have staff member cleaning there then.

 ;) thanks
